Why Visit The Gambia

The Gambia is on the same time zone as the UK so in the winter there is no time difference which means no jet lag! In the summer The Gambia is one hour behind the UK.

The flight times from Gatwick and Bristol are between 5 hours and 45 minutes and 6 hours and from Manchester slightly longer at 6 hours, 20 minutes. When one of our flights flies via another UK airport this adds about an hour to the flight time, however passengers do not have to disembark the plane and turn around times at the smaller regional airports such as Bristol are generally very quick.

As most of our flights leave the UK in the morning and with such a short journey from Banjul airport to the hotels, you can be sitting around the pool by late afternoon on the day you leave the UK. Our new scheduled Friday flight leaves Gatwick in the afternoon and returns in the morning making it ideal for worldwide connecting flights.
