Makasutu by Night

Enjoy dinner and an evening in the palm forest. Travel by bus late afternoon for the 40 minute ride to the forest which can be a little bumpy. After a glass of complimentary local punch on arrival, one of the guides from Makasutu will take you on a short walk through the forest and tell you about the fruits, trees and creatures that occupy Makasutu. A highlight of the walk is visiting the 'Medicine Man' who has lived in a hut in the forest for more than 20 years!

Taste some local tea before enjoying a fabulous buffet style meal in the amazing surroundings of the forest. After dinner you can gather round the fire and enjoy watching the locals in their traditional dress dance and entertain you before boarding the bus back to your hotel at around 11.30pm
