For those who like a later start, this trip departs after breakfast. A 20 kilometre drive south along the coast to the camel stables near the fishing village of Tanji. There is a little bar at the stables where you can buy a cold drink before setting off on the camels for a 30 minute ride through the village and along on the beach. A truly unique experience for The Gambia.

Children under 8 years are half price and sit in the centre of the camel's saddle.
