TuesdayGlasgow International Airport is one of the UK's busiest international airports, with almost 9 million passengers a year. It is owned by BAA, the world's leading airport company, which also owns Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Aberdeen and Edinburgh airports.
Glasgow International Airport has created a free, covered pick-up and drop-off zone opposite the main terminal, allowing motorists to drop off and pick up passengers just metres from the front of the terminal. Motorists can access the new zone for up to 10 minutes, at no cost.
Special provision has also been made to allow disabled passengers (blue badge holders) to drop off and pick up in the designated blue badge spaces directly opposite the Terminal. Help points are available within the car park for passengers in need of assistance.
For further instruction on using these facilities and for information on alternative means of transport please visit the official BAA Glasgow International Airport website at http://www.glasgowairport.com
