Check-in Times
We would recommend checking-in 2 hours (minimum) prior to the departure time for flights to The Gambia. Check-in desks may be open before this to check-in earlier; it is advisable to check-in if you arrive early as this helps the airline avoid delays and any last minute problems.
Passport Control & Security
After check-in proceed through to your departure gate, passing through passport control & security. You will be expected to show your passport and your boarding pass when entering the passenger departure area, which is restricted to passengers travelling on a flight that day only. If anybody has accompanied you to the airport that is not travelling, this is when you part.
At security your bag will be placed through an x-ray scan and you may be asked by airport security staff to open your bag for inspection and may need to remove your shoes for screening.
Missed Departure
If in the event that you are late for check-in and you miss your flight, you can contact us on the same day and can change your ticket to the next available flight at an administration charge of £195 per person plus any difference in costs. If, however, you do not contact us on the same day as the missed departure, a new ticket will need to be purchased.
Further details are set out in clause 12 ‘Travel Services’ of our Terms & Conditions.
